ARTIST STATEMENT

In the 2018 global political atmosphere, the term Zero Tolerance can wrapped around so many issues in so many ways. The current use as it relates to Immigration policies in the United States reflects frustration, anger, fear, confusion, heart ache and misunderstanding for so many individuals.The issue is old, messy, complex and clearly not easily solved. I can’t help but wonder what the planet would look like today had there been a zero tolerance policy in place when the Europeans first sailed to “our” eastern coast.
