Walk a Mile in my Shoes

 I was completely taken aback by the negative and uncompassionate comments about 45's family separation policy. It cut me to the quick. I saw a heart-wrenching scenario of taking children from their parents being played out on the news and social media. Many people are blinded by the rhetoric that is coming out of the White House every day. People don’t understand and are quick to judge. Where is their humanity? The journey is long and difficult to get these families to safety and seeking asylum. Walk a mile in their shoes so you can understand their plight.
